Detroit are a Bristol based band playing funk, soul and disco covers from the 1970’s and 1980’s.
Detroit is an experienced seven piece funk, soul and disco band specialising in providing live music at weddings, private parties and corporate events.
We are based in Bristol UK, but are happy to travel to other parts of the UK.
The music we play is well known funk, soul and disco songs and tunes from the 1970’s and 1980’s.
Please listen to a sample of our music which we can also supply a four track demo CD. This will give you a comprehensive idea of how we sound. The CD is available on request by email.
If booked for any event we supply our own sound equipment and engineer inclusive in the price.
We particularly love playing at weddings and will happily provide as much or as little help as you want from us in planning your evening party.
The Detroit sound goes down a storm at weddings, parties (birthday, anniversary, office etc.) and other functions. We never fail to get the crowd dancing to our beat (and we do a few, slow, lovers numbers too!).
Every now and again we play at public venues and if we have a gig planned we will post it here on the website. We also have an email list if you’d like to receive news in your inbox!
